WHO WE ARE
DOMESTIC WORKERS.
KUDHEIHA started as domestic workers organization representing the interest of domestic workers working for Europeans during the colonial government. Domestic workers comprise a significant part of the global workforce in informal employment and are among the most vulnerable groups of workers.
EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS.
KUDHEIHA represent all Non-Teaching staffs or employees employed and engaged as subordinate and professionals in all private and public Educational Institutions and Organizations including Primary, Secondary, Post-Primary Institutions, Tertiary Institutions, Polytechnics,
HOSPITAL WORKERS.
All persons employed and engaged as subordinate staff, Nurses and other medical professionals, except doctors in both Private and Public Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Dispensaries, Clinics, Chemists, Pharmacists, Medical Training Institutions, Centers of Research and other related projects or organizations providing associated services to Medical Care.
HOTEL WORKERS.
All persons employed or engaged as subordinate and professionals in Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs, Bars, Entertaining facilities, Hostels, Cafes, Butcheries, Casinos, Villas, Residential Cottages, Tented Camps, Sports Clubs, Establishments providing Lodgings, Accommodations, Food, Beverages, Entertainments or both
CHURCH WORKERS.
All persons employed and engaged as subordinate and professionals in all Religious Institutions, Organizations including Christian Churches,
Muslim Mosques, Hindu Temples, Homes and all Non- Governmental Organizations and related Institutions providing Commercial, Communal activities in Private or Public Social Services.
