Kudheiha has called upon the government to consider giving tax relief to those who will be paying retirement savings under National Social Security Fund (NSSF) just like it happens with Pay As You Earn (PAYE). Currently, personal relief on PAYE remains at Sh.2,400 per month and Sh 28,800 per year.
Kudheiha’s Secretary General, Brother Albert Njeru spoke during our Thanksgiving Day and said tax relief will help and motivate already burdened employees to save and secure their future. Brother Benson Okwaro, who is COTU’s Deputy Secretary General and who was the Chief Guest of Kudheiha’s Thanksgiving Day also called for the prudent use of the NSSF funds.
