Joined other public unions for a peaceful procession to the parliament to say "NO TO OVERTAXATION" and "NO TO 3% HOUSING".

  Our Secretary General,  COTU_K GS Dr. Francis Atwoli ,together with other delegates at the opening of COTU_K / NHIF Kenya retreat on the new NHIF (Amended) Act Regulations that’s bring held at Tom Mboya  Labour College in Kisumu.

We had an interactive meeting with the @solidarity_center,  Kenya team in our office. The interaction was on updating the progress of programs undertaken jointly such as the informal economy campaign and promoting safe, orderly and secure labor migration. The partnership is committed to continue advocating for decent work.

  Labour Day 2023, though not a 100% success, as a union we got a plus whereby the President of Kenya, H.E Dr. William Ruto committed to have both C189 and C190 concluded and ratified.
